#Step to add 2 Step Verification in Gmail account

  • 1. Open chrome and Click on your “Profile Icon”
  • 2. Click on “Manage Your Google account”
  • 3. Click on the “Security” option in left sidebar
  • 4. Scroll down and click on “2 Step Verification”
  • 5. Click on “Get Started” button
  • 6. Enter your “Password” and Click on “Next” button
  • 7. Enter your “Mobile Number” for SMS/Call and Click on “Next” button
  • 8. Enter “OTP” and Click on “Next” button
  • 9. Finally , click on “Turn On” option

Step 1 : Open chrome and Click on your “Profile Icon

So in the first step you have to open your Chrome and after opening it you simply have to click on your “Profile Icon”.

Step 2 : Click on “Manage Your Google account”

And after clicking on the profile icon, you will see a lot of settings, from which you have to click on the option of “Manage Google Your Account”.

Step 3 : Click on the “Security” option in left sidebar

And after clicking on the security option, you simply have to come down and click on the “2 Step Verification” option there.

Step 5 : Click on “Get Started” button

And after clicking on the 2-step verification option, you can read everything about 2-step verification and after reading it, you simply have to click on the “Get Started” button below, which you will see in blue color.

Step 6 : Enter your “Password” and Click on “Next” button

And after clicking on the get started button, you will have to enter the “password” of your Gmail account here and after entering the password, simply click on the “Next” button below you.

Step 7 : Enter your “Mobile Number” for SMS/Call and Click on “Next” button

And after clicking on the next button, a new page will open in front of you in which you have to enter your ” Mobile Number” on which you want the OTP and you can take any of the two options, either through SMS or through a call on this number.

And after entering your mobile number, you simply have to click on the “Next” button below.

Step 8 : Enter “OTP” and Click on “Next” button

And after clicking on the Next button, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, which you have to enter here. If you have not received any OTP yet, then please wait for a while, you will receive an OTP from Google, which you have to enter here and after entering the OTP, you simply have to click on the “Next” button below.

Step 9 : Finally , click on “Turn On” option

And after clicking on the next button, finally you just have to click on the “Turn On” option and your 2 step verification setting will be turned on.

Now whenever you login to your Gmail account, you will first receive an OTP, after entering which you can login to your Gmail account.And you can do this work on your mobile also by following all these same steps, it is not necessary that you do this work only on the computer.
