Job Overview

  • Role: Aircraft Support Mechanic (ASM) – Entry-level

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Repair: Fix, install, and modify aircraft parts, systems, and interior components (e.g., seats, tray tables, wiring).
  • Inspections & Safety: Inspect planes for defects or wear, test equipment, and strictly follow safety protocols.
  • Troubleshooting: Read technical manuals, schematics, and flight logs to diagnose and fix mechanical issues.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed repair logs of all maintenance activities.
  • Teamwork: Work independently or assist Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) while receiving on-the-job mentorship.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 18 years old with U.S. work authorization
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Preferred: Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
